a very heart felt poetic piece. nice work man. Very cool of you to write one for your kids. I'm an uncle (and personally that's close enough for me, for now) :>) so I get it to a certain degree, but you're right, prob. nowhere near the same as if I had my own..

I'd love to listen to stuff like this (just you and your guitar) recorded live in a big room with 2 really really good mics, and done analog, the old way. If you know someone that runs a studio or can cough up the dough you should do it for songs like this in my opinion, that warm vibe is amplified and comes through much more potent on a warm analog recording... all live, a day to track and a day or two to mix shouldn't break the bank, just a thought... **please don't think I'm raggin on the recording, you know how I am about recording quality, old school methods, etc... :>)
